MAIN RESEARCH INTERESTS

  1. Hopf Algebras and Quantum groups. (This is a ramification of non-commutative algebras with applications to Physics, Knot theory, Computing and Genetics).
  2. Economic indices of risk, theoretical and empirical studies, with applications to finance.
  3. Industrial management with emphasize on Game Theory applications.

  1. 1999:  Dr. Shlomi Gelaki, main research area – Quantum groups. We published two joint papers during this period. He is now an associate professor at the Technion.
  2. 2012-2014: Oz Ben-Shimol, main research area – An algebraic approach to Lie algebras. He published two papers during this period.
  3. 2013 -: Rishi Vyas, partially supported by the joint ISF grant of M. Cohen and myself. He does his research at Ben-Gurion University where he won the prestigious Indo-China fellowship from the Israeli educational authorities.
