About the Executive MA program in supply chain management and logistics :

The unique study program in the management department at Bar-Ilan is intended for managers and senior professionals, and is taught in one year only!
The management department sees itself as a bridge between the academic-research world and the business world. Faculty members in the department lead diverse research programs and are active at the forefront of international research.
Their research combines the development of advanced theories with the development of practical tools, the purpose of which is to assist managers in making better and more profitable decisions in the various fields of management.
The master's degree program for managers is a unique program for master's studies in supply chain management and logistics for managers and senior professionals in one year only.

The program was established in 2010 and is rich in experience. To date, more than 10 cycles have been completed within it, which include hundreds of qualified people, including managers in key positions.This logistics program for managers is designed to train managers and senior managers in leading positions, who wish to acquire innovative and practical tools for success in the world of management, logistics and business. The program includes courses in the fields of logistics and operations at the various levels, and it emphasizes the administrative and applied aspects of logistics management, supply chains, transportation and transportation systems, and ERP and E-Business systems.

The training in the program provides tools that help to develop managerial thinking and to see the current and future needs of the logistics world, while combining theory and practice and guest lectures by the best experts in the various fields.

The MA program in supply chain and logistics management for managers is intended for managers with an academic background and managerial experience, who have completed a chapter in their career and are interested in deepening their professionalism in management in the field of logistics. The participants are managers who have chosen to develop themselves on their way to senior management positions or those who have been selected by their employers as worthy of substantial investment.
The managers studying in the program benefit from the comprehensive support of a professional and skilled team. The experienced administrative framework of the program has a proven ability to effectively solve academic and administrative problems as part of understanding the busy agenda of the student managers. The administrative staff and the academic staff provide personal and professional treatment to each student.

The lecturers in the logistics program for managers are senior in their field and combine academic, theoretical and up-to-date knowledge with extensive experience in teaching and practical work, experienced in the Israeli economy.

The fields of logistics are very important to the success of every organization, company and business - the demand for quality managers in the field is increasing. Graduates of the program currently work in diverse positions in industry, the military, in land, sea and air transportation authorities, in customs and shipping brokerage companies, in knowledge-intensive industries and even in the fields of banking and economics in Israel and abroad.

The degree awarded to the graduates of the program is a master's degree in supply chain management and logistics - management track of Bar-Ilan University.

MA study track in supply chain and logistics management for managers - Executive

The Executive Program is a structured program without research (no thesis).

The curriculum in this track includes: 20 compulsory credits + 8 elective credits + 8 seminar credits = a total of 36 credits.

Acceptance conditions

Bachelor's degree from a recognized academic institution with an average of at least 76 + proven management experience of at least 3 years.
A CV must be submitted.The program is designed to train managers, so to ensure a class with a quality mix, those accepted must meet the threshold conditions of proven significant managerial or professional experience of at least 3 years, in addition to a bachelor's degree with an average of at least 76.

The curriculum

The studies take place in sequence: 2 frontal semesters - A and B, in which the study days are Thursday 16:00-22:00 and Friday 08:00-14:00, and a computerized summer semester.

The student will be required to complete his studies for three consecutive semesters.

Judaism courses and end-of-semester exams may be held on other days and times.

Summer semester in the Department of Management will begin immediately at the end of the second semester (exam period). This semester does not coincide with the academic calendar published on the Bar Ilan website.
