The MA in Supply Chain Management and Logistics program was opened for the first time in Israel in 2016 565 and is rich in experience.

To date, 16 cycles have been completed within its framework, which include over 850-qualified people, who are integrated into various key positions in the field of logistics and industry in Israel and abroad.

The program deals with the management of logistics departments and even trains and develops the reserve of researchers and managers of the supply chain and logistics in the State of Israel
In order for them to be able to answer logistical issues in management and integrate into academia and the Israeli economy in its many sectors.
The studies in the program give graduates a master's degree in supply chain management and logistics M.A.

Acceptance conditions

Have a bachelor's degree, from a recognized academic institution and have an average grade of at least 85.
Holders of a degree in logistics, engineering, science (Bsc), economics - will be able to apply with an average of at least 76.
Holders of a bachelor's degree in business administration and management subjects - will be able to apply with an average of at least 80.All this as detailed in additional information about admission conditions.

The study tracks

  • Track A - including conducting research (thesis), successfully writing the thesis opens the door to third degree studies. Instructions for writing a thesis can be found in the master's degree committee regulations.
    The curriculum includes: compulsory courses (including "advanced research tools" and "thesis workshop") 26 credits + Master's thesis 10 credits Tuition = total 36 credits
  • Track B - without research (thesis). This track is intended for candidates who wish to expand their knowledge of the subjects studied and do not intend to continue for a PhD.
    The curriculum includes (scope of hours): 22 compulsory credits + 6 elective credits + 8 seminar credits = a total of 36 credits.

Transition from track B to track A

A student who wishes to transfer to Track A will register for the courses "Advanced Research Tools" and "Thesis Workshop". Only after approval of a research proposal can you move to track A.
A student who does not complete the submission of a research proposal by the end of the summer semester of year 1, will not be able to transfer to track A
.

The curriculum

The internship courses are held consecutively (semesters 1, 2 and summer) on Thursdays 16-22 face-to-face and Friday 8-14 face-to-face/zoom alternately and a computerized summer semester.
Judaism courses, the completion course and end-of-semester exams may be held on other days and times.

Summer semester in the Department of Management will begin immediately at the end of the second semester (exam period). This semester does not coincide with the academic calendar published on the Bar Ilan website.

The curriculum is a comprehensive program.
The student must complete his studies in track A with (research) for two years and in track B (without research) for three consecutive semesters.

In justified cases, upon the recommendation of the head of the department and the supervisor, the committee allows an extension for a third academic year, and this only for students in track A (with research).

You must register for studies (thesis code) through the computerized system and pay tuition fees every year at the dates to be determined until the thesis is submitted and the studies are completed and the degree is awarded, even if no courses are required.

Payment of tuition fees only or Partial execution of the registration actions is not considered as registration. Failure to register on time will be considered a waiver of the right to continue studies.

Students who lack an appropriate academic background and who are admitted to the master's degree studies in the Department of Management will be required to take the supplementary course(s).

A student who will be required to take the supplementary course(s) will be a student in a conditional status or in a special status and will be required to complete them during the first year of study, with a grade/average of at least 80.

Students who have studied identical courses in the last 10 years and received a passing grade will be exempt from the courses.

In this program in track B without a thesis there is no English requirement for a master's degree.
Track A with a thesis - details on the screening tests, the levels of the courses that will be determined and the criteria for granting an exemption to those who are eligible –See the English department website.

Exemption from specialization courses

  • A student who started but did not finish his studies for a master's degree at a recognized academic institution, and studied in the last 4 years an identical or parallel course, both within us and in the scope of the one required in the master's study program, and achieved a grade of at least 80, may apply for an exemption from the course.
  • The possibility of exemption from courses due to previous studies exists up to a total of 16 credits in track B and 8 credits in track A.
  • Requests for exemption or conversion of courses should be directed to the graduate degrees secretariat in the Department of Management. The authority to approve an exemption or conversion of courses rests with the university's master's degree committee. The request must be submitted on an appropriate application form.
